Back in the 80'S
Mario Lopez came to the US Pacific Northwest with the dream and vision of offering authentic home styled Mexican meals across the region and founded Tacos El Rey as a taco truck business in Dakima, Washington.
Mario developed an effective business model in order for it to be duplicated successfully.
Today, his brother and family continue to honor his name and legacy across the region with over 10 Tacos el Rey locations throughout Washington State, Oregon, and Idaho.
Mario's dream became a reality.

" The food is really amazing, I got their goat soup and tacos (lengua, cabeza, barbacoa) both of them are amazing. I didn't know what to expect with the goat soup, but it actually tastes good if you are into sour.
It tastes like pinapaitan in Philippines. The goat meat is super tender and not chewy at all so it's great! Their salsa for tacos are superb 👌 I love the guacamole sauce. There are so many things I wanna try so I'm definitely coming back! "
